FISHERMAN SHACK . built under numac constructions

In 2017, we were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to help restore this original 1940’s “Fisherman’s Shack”, located in Palm Beach. The original shack has been in our clients family for three generations, we knew how much this place meant to them and made watching this project come to life all the more special. A bit of a passion project, and an interesting one at that - with the building process occurring in reverse - the house was there but the floor was not as it had been washed away by the oceans of Pittwater, which lay at its doorstep. This meant propping the house up to build the floor and propping the roof up to build the walls and restore the open ceilings all while navigating the tides.
